Under new ownership, and they are very happy to make everything right. Food was great, it took a little bit longer than I had hoped, but it was worth the wait. Got takeout after a long day and enjoyed it for 2 days. Downloaded the app, looking forward to the discount applying to my next order. Definitely looking forward to going back

5/5 - Amazing Service and Food! I can’t say enough good things about Dickey’s Barbecue Pit! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and valued. It’s clear they genuinely enjoy being there, and that positive energy really adds to the experience. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive—exactly what you’d hope for in a great dining experience. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! Everything was perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and you could tell they take pride in the quality of their barbecue. It’s rare to find a place that delivers on both amazing service and incredible food, but Dickey’s does just that. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re craving authentic barbecue. This place gets a solid 5/5 from me—I’ll definitely be back!

I was worried Dickey’s was gone for good in the Carson City area. The store previously had gone downhill and was rundown and dirty! The store now is very clean and well kept! I had the brisket sandwich and although I wished the portions were larger for the price, it was very tasty! I will be back! Wish they also had their daily specials as well. Give them another try! Let’s support the new owners!

First time at this location. The staff was great and willing to spend time with us to explain all the different combination of dishes. Brisket was delicious and would definitely get that again. The restaurant was clean and pleasant to eat in.
